The most instagrammable places in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh city

My Motherland Country.

Have you ever been to VietNam ? Saigon/Ho Chi Minh per-se ? In this post I wanted to show you the most instagrammable places in this lovely city once I called home.

Saigon was captured by the French in 1859, and named the capital of Cochinchina a few years later. The city served as the capital of the Republic of Vietnam from 1956 until 1975. The fell of Saigon in 1975 and the North Vietnamese take over and was renamed Ho Chi Minh City by the Hanoi government.

Ho Chi Minh aka Saigon city is vibrant and main economic hub of VietNam. The city packed with great restaurants,bar fashion bouquet and mopeds. The population of this city alone close to 10 million people.

This is Ciao Cafe. Beautiful cafe but closed now but the yellow building still standing. I just love to colorful of building.

The Pink boba Tea

This R&B Milk Tea place is such cutest Boba tea shop. IG worthy spot. This R&B Milk Tea is located at Phan Xich Long. Phu Nhuan district.

Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon officially Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception. This Nortr-Dame was built during the French Colonial around 1863-1880. This beautiful Cathedral is in the heart of downtown in District 1.

This is another beautiful church built during the French colonial. This Pink Church become IG spot lately.

Thien Hau Temple. Thien Hau Pagoda is a Chinese-style temple of the Chinese sea goddess Mazu. I love the history and vibes here.


This is an old apartment building in District 5.

Address : 42 Nguyễn Huệ, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam.
Built around the mid 1960s, the apartment block at 42 Nguyen Hue has seen many changes. It was home of American military officers and high ranking officials working for the South Vietnam government. This apartment now become coffee shops. 7 levels full of coffee and teas shops.
